Disney Challenge Day 26

Saddest Death: Mufasa 

 

 

How could I not choose this death? It is sad, a bit scary when you're younger, and little Simba watches it happen! Also his brother Scar is the one that kills him. I know this story is basically that of Hamlet, but it is so disturbing in cartoon form. I remember crying during this part many times, and I probably still would now if I was watching it. I think what makes it the most sad is when Simba says, "Dad, get up! We've got to go home!" because he doesn't understand that his father has passed away.

The first Disney Movie I saw: The Lion King

 

 

According to my parent's my brother and I were very little and didn't pay attention the entire time, but hey, The Lion King was the first I ever saw. Apparently I didn't realize how sad it was then, I just liked the animals!
